Here I am, depending on

This was the song playing in my head yesterday while I was in surgery. I did not plan it to be that way, but it suddenly popped into my head, and thank goodness it did. It reminded me to stop struggling by myself, that I had to depend on Him, to trust Him.

My Candle on the Water

I first learned this song when I was in grade school in Cebu. After so many years, I heard this song again at the Mint Museum of Toys in Singapore last Saturday. It felt so good to hear it as it reminded me of the joys I had as a child.
Since then, hearing this song comforts me as I face a challenging month ahead. With His help, I hope to see the golden stream of light soon. :)
